I'm in contact with Xotic PC (the company I bought it from) and they can replace the card and do all the bios stuff. Doing research I found this laptop which also interests me.Īny other laptops around this price and more powerful? Anyway, thanks for reading my post and thanks for the help!! I enjoy the portability of a laptop though. Right now this 350 dollar "Potato Masher" desktop seems pretty appealing.

Can anyone recommend another laptop that's just as strong in most ways or stronger then my current laptop? I'd like something that is comparable or stronger than a PS4 so I can game for the next couple years with no problem. Is this laptop too old at this point? I don't want to purchase a 680m and the not be able to play the games that come out next year or 2017. With those prices and the ages of those cards though, I wonder if it's not better to build a desktop or purchase another laptop. It seems the most advanced card I can get are the 680m and the 7970m. I've done some research about what upgrades are available.

I think it's still got a lot of power so I'd like to keep it and just upgrade the GPU. So this laptop cost a pretty penny when I bought it. It's been a total work horse but it's finally met it's match with The Witcher 3.
